I uploaded a web to my server and I want to overwrite everytihng when I
re-publish. I have checked the box to overwrite all server files but it wont
do it. Then if I try to publish with "changed pages only", I get the message
that certain files exist on the server and does FP want me to remove them but
the same problem, it wont get rid of them. Any idea on how to remove these
files?

These files, where they place there by you or your web host. Have you contact your web host?

These files were put there by me using Front Page. Then I deleted some of
the htm files in my local web and tried to republish and thats when this all
started happening.

Ok, then it appears the you live/remote and local copy is not in sync. Open the live site in FP, and
delete all files that you can see via FP. Be sure to first go to Tools | Site settings and enable
viewing of hidden directories.

DO NOT delete the following folders:

_private
images

For these two folders, just delete any content within them, then run Tools | Recalculate Hyperlinks.

Now you can publish with either Change Page only or do a full publish from your local copy.

and you're saying Yes to Do You want to Delete this file off the Destination Web prompt?

Thanks Thomas, that worked just fine.
