FP2003 Publishing

I run a site on Tripod (part of the Lycos network). When I publish changed
pages the navigation bar disappears. I suspect that it is a version problem
as the host states that FP2000/2002 extensions are supported, but no mention
of FP2003. Is there that much of a difference? I don't want to revert to
FP2002 as its publish function is an "all or none" operation, whereas I want
to be able to designate which pages to upload. Until recently I was able to
FTP the pages via WS_FTP95, but now am receiving "call blocking received"
errors. Any one know how I can overcome that? I already have tried
enabling/disabling passive mode, and that didn't work. Also tried CuteFTP
and got same results. The problemonly surfaced about a month ago. Until then
it went fine. Interestingly enough, dial-up and dsl at another location work
fine. I tried a direct connection to my DSL modem (I use a router normally),
and no joy. Also tried disabling firewall/virus checker and still nothin.
TIA,
Dick

FP2003 support either the FP2000 or FP2002 extensions, there are no FP2003 extensions. If the remote
site has the FP extensions then you should not use FTP to upload, as the extensions on the remote
server are not updated with any changes your make, plus certain feature of shared borders and the
navigation component requires that the site be publish via FP's http mode in order to work.

Note: if you make changes to your navigation structure or theme, etc. then you need to select
"Publish Changed Pages Only", and not use selective publishing of individual pages, as they will not
allow all of your changes to be published.
