Remote server: Apache 1.3.29, FPE2002 installed.
Local system XP-Pro, IIS 5, FPE2002 installed.
I connect to the remote server with FP. I can edit, recalculate hyperlinks
and so forth - no problem.
Similiarly, I can connect the the local server without any problems.
When I attempt to publish from the Apache server to my local server (back up
the web site) I get the following errors:
Server could not complete your request - contact admin and make sure FPE or
SharePoint is installed.
Details:
403 Forbidden You dont have permission to access
/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.exe. Additionally, 404 error while trying to use
ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.29 Server at www.my-web-site
Port 80 ( An interesting aside: both the /_vti_aut/ & /_vti_adm/
directories appear empty to my FTP program - but fpadmcgi.exe works...)
I get the same error when I attempt to publish from a local IIS site to the
apache server. Same error if I try to publish from apache to a local
Win2003 server too. As far as I know, there have been no configuration
changes to the apache. Health Check says everything is ok. Recalculate
hyperlinks works ok.
I had no problems publishing to or from this apache server with FP2002.
This just started after I upgraded to 2003.
Any ideas what I can look at to resolve this?
Thanks,
