I have twice generated a discussion web using FP2003 and it generates all required forms. However, when I post a comment it does not show in the top frame (contents) after refreshing the form by exiting the web and re-entering. All this is after it was published on my site. I can search and find but I expected it to show on the Main Page so users can see the items posted. Can someone enlighten me please? This is first time I have generated a discussion group

Your posts are being written to the subweb or folder 1 level above your DW web
http://www.millennium3.ws/myesk/_disc1/00000001.htm
and
http://www.millennium3.ws/myesk/_disc1/00000002.htm

It does not appear your DW location is a valid subweb
http://www.millennium3.ws/myesk/NewsSite/

Delete the DW pages and _hidden folders it created
The convert the Folder NewsSite to a subweb (right click it an convert to web)
Open the New subweb (double click the NewsSite web folder)
and use File New Web (select the DW) and the create in current web option

PS
You host need to support subwebs (some don't)

| Forgot to mention the site URL is http://www.millennium3.ws/myesk/NewsSite/ValleyNews.htm if someone might like to test it for me
please.

Hi Stephan
Many thanks for your comments. Yes, my Host site does support subwebs, so I will try this again tomorrow Aussie time

Hi Stephan
Thank you again for your instructions. It all works except that I need to be able to edit the form that shows the details when a user clicks on the item in the top frame. The following code will let me edit the form

<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"><meta name="Microsoft Theme" content="blends 1011"></head><body style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt"><!--webbot BOT="FormInsertHere" --></body></html

Can I redirect to another form that is editable as the one it is defaulting to wastes too many lines with the name, date, time and subject with each on a separate line and the font size not editable

Regard
Nev

The posts are server generated and not editable
- all you can do is apply a theme to all pages of the subweb as a default for the appearance

Hi Stephan
Thanks for the comment. Looks like I'll need to go to a script based system to get something looking good
