FP2003 - Dynamic Web Templates using DBW vs Server Webs

In testing Dynamic Web Templates it appears that if you are using server
webs rather than Disk Based Webs you are limited in functionality.

On two of my machines, when I make a change to Master DWT and then try to
update all attached pages, the options to do this on the format menu are
greyed out. Can't use them. If you try to do the exact same thing on a
Disk Based Web, you can.

The way it is, for SBW's you have to open all the pages you attached to a
template and update them separtely.

This will be really disappointing if it can't be fixed.

Has anyone else noticed this? Hopefully I am wrong about it.

What will run on Windows XP (Where I develop)?

My web host is running Windows 2003.

If I already have Frontpage Extensions installed on my Windows XP laptop and
I want SharePoint Team Services installed, can I do just install SharePoint
Team Services?
