I stored only one image in my Website and used in Photo
Gallry. When I wanted to remove it, FP crashes. This
happened when using blank page, inserting web component,
or photogallery template, with one image and more than one.
I badly need to use photo gallery in my web site.
Any help?

Its not just photo gallery that crashes this program....I'm up to 5 crashes so far today and I 'm very, very sick of it. I have plenty of memory and room on this computer and IE is the only other program open
My last crash I was deleting table cells.................

Looks like FP 2003 has retrogressed to FP version 1 when there were so many
problems. FP 2003 crashes for me as well. It seems unpredictable and not
related to opening another file or anything. I installed FrontPage 2003
last week
along with Office Professional 2003 and Onenote 2003. Every thing works fine
except FrontPage. Apparently randomly, the window opens a message window
pops up stating "FrontPage has encountered a problem and needs to close. We
are sorry for the inconvenience." I have tried starting it in safemode,
running the repair, uninstalling, reinstalling, installing on another
partition and then it randomly crashes somethings . I have Windows XP
Professional version 2002 sp 1.

I did the following (Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 829562) which
helped for a few days but then went back to the same errors:

Error Message When You Try to Start FrontPage 2003
View products that this article applies to.
SYMPTOMS
When you start Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, you may receive the
following error message:

Microsoft FrontPage has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
sorry for the inconvenience.

This seems to be the only KB article on the subject but I don't seem to be
the only one with the problem.

Thanks

Have you also tried the usual repairs in the sequence below:
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files in the folder FrontPageTempDir
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 they are in
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file hidden file CMDUI.PRF
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\FrontPage\State
4) Run a Repair on IE
(see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=318378 )
5) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, MS Office and your Video card
(Windows Update and Office Update sites, plus your video card supplier site)
6) Open FP and Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins,
7) Open your FP Web/Site and run a Tools Recalculate Hyperlinks

Hi Stefan,

in addition to doing the KB articles I did your 7 steps. One or two days FP
2003 will work fine and then some days or instances I still get "FrontPage
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience."

It doesn't seem to matter if I start one program or another or only FP
alone. I cannot induce the error above and it seems to happen randomly or at
least I see no partern.

Prior to your 7 steps I did extensive troubleshooting, several times repair,
install and uninstall FP 2003 along with several times install and uninstall
Office 2003 but no joy.

You need to note the specific "common" events leading up to crash
