Hi,
my site has pdf files in a subfolder from the main htm files which reference
them. FP2002 finds the pdf files initially and publishes them, but when I
change the pdf files, FP2002 fails to find the new versions and I can only
publish them by renaming the _vti_cnf subfolder and dealing with all the
conflicts.

Is there anything else I should be doing or is this a feature?
Thanks

Make sure you File | Import the pdf into your web before linking and
publishing. If you haven't imported it, FP won't see the change and won't
recognize it, and you'll have to do a full publish initially, then changed
pages only thereafter.

Messing with the _vit_folders will mess up the FP server extensions.

Thanks, Tom. It worked a treat. I've just copied files in the past rather
than importing them. I guess it worked first time because I copied then
linked.
