I have used FP2000 for several years now with little problem until now. Now, when I start FP (it does load) and click the HTML tab or the Preview tab I get the following Microsoft FrontPage error:

An error occurred while attempting to write the file.
Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

Clicking OK at this point will allow me to exit gracefully.

If I try to OPEN any existing Frontpage page or web, or try to insert a picture then it locks up completely. Ctrl Alt Del shows two FrontPage applications running at this point. Killing one or the other will exit Frontpage.

I have not been able to determine what external or unrelated event may have caused this problem. I have un-installed and re-installed multiple times with the no help. I have Frontpage installed (from the same CD) on 2 other computers and they work just fine. All of my computers are running XP home edition with all critical upgrades includeing Office Professional Service Pack 2.

I've searched many Microsoft and other sources for similar experience but have turned oup zip.

Thanks for any help in advance

Sumpin' doesn't match...you've got a corrupted file somewhere.
Anything else (more descriptive) appear in the error message?

No seriously...CRC's are beyond me, we need one of the gurus on this one.
All's I know is that something is probably corrupted and the crc is not matching.
