FP feature request

Not sure if this is the right group where FP software developers
hangout.

There are a number of features that I would like to see incorporated
into FP, but the one right now that I think would be of most
beneficial use (to me anyway!) is related to Shared Borders.
Specifically, we should be allowed to create "sets" of Shared Borders
and apply the appropriate "set" to any page.

Think of the power that this gives. On my site, I want some of my
pages to have one type of shared borders (with different navigation
options) and on other pages I need a different set of shared borders.

I suppose I could hand-code one set of pages with their own
navigation controls but then I lose the advantages of shared borders
such as making changes only once.

If there is some other way of doing this I would be very interested!

Regards,

Use the DWT (Dynamic Web Template) feature in FrontPage2003. You can
set up as many DWTs as needed for the site, and each can be designed
with different sets of borders.
Shared Borders are deprecated in FP2003.
For all versions of FP, use include files instead of Shared Borders.

Suggestions should go to

Dynamic Web Templates provide this capability today.

Alternatively, the Include Page component can provide a similar effect.

The official means for suggesting product improvements, BTW, starts at

Thanks to you and Jim, this is just what I'm looking for! I came up
from previous Frontpage versions and just didn't have the smarts to
investigate DWT on FP2003 (always thought it was to do with "dynamic"
web pages!).

Anyway, just created a couple of DWT templates and am just loving all
the potential that this offers me!

Thanks once again.
