FP 2003 won't publish to web

Using FP 2003 in Win XP Home. FP works fine until I try to publish to web
server. Problem is NOT extensions. Other pc's can publish no problem. One
day it works, then 2 weeks can go by & it won't work. I have repaired
network connection, tried all the reboot, rest, repair, uninstall &
reinstall of program. Nothing seems to cure the problem. Error message:
Could not find a web server at .... on port 80. Check proxy settings... etc.
Problem does not appear on the server side. I have a Win98se pc which works
to publish, but cannot use because when I open the program to file list, 1/2
of the names are upper & mixed case. They are all small case in explores,
file manager & other ways to see actual files. Since case matters, reluctant
to publish changes for fear of broken links resulting. Help!

could be that it is your host's problem - have you checked with them. The error
is specific: "cannot find a server at port 80". Port 80 is the http:// port FP
uses for publishing.....so a connection is failing somewhere.
