FP 2003: player control with embedded flash video

Hi. I hope someone can help me with this:

I am trying to embed Flash videos in my web design using FP 2003.

Outputting Flash Video from Turbine Video Encoder I have no problems
embedding a Flash Video as swt-file (via Insert drop menu). It looks nice
embedded in my webdesign and works fine with the browsers I have testet.

The problem is, that I want to ad a player control. From Turbine I have
outputted the video as flv-file. Together with this file (containing the
video) comes also these files: swt, jpg and html. Now: I think I have tried
(several times) all "Insert" possibilities, all "web component" options for
every file (except offcourse the jpg). Nothing works. I am sure, that I am
doing something wrong here, but can't figure out what.

How do I go about implementing a player control with the flash video - still
embedded in the html-file/within my web design?

Not a FP related issue

But you can use the Turbine Video Encoder control overlays
- on the flash settings tab preloader/Overlay select one of the 3 controls (Wind, Mach, Mach 2)

Or you can make your own swf controls and overlay them

Hi Stefan, and thanks for your answer.

I AM able to output flash movie with player control from Turbine Video
Encoder, but I am not able to embed this - whereas it is no probem to embed
the "pure" swt file with no player control. When I output from Turbine Video
Encoder including a player control I get not just the swt-file but also flv
(containing the video) and html. It works ok if I just drag and drop the
swt-file into Explorer or other browser - then no problem - it shows with the
player control. But I cannot embed it in FP 03 ?(I have offcourse all
relevant files in the same directory)

Alternatively: How do I make my own swf controls and overlay them

Suggest you contact support for TVE
- has nothing to do w/ FP as the results w/ the controls from TVE is a single .swf file
- try the Jimco flash embedder to get the swf in FP (http://www.jimcosoftware.com/)

thanks again, as I explained I do not get a single swf-file when outputting
flash video from Turbine which includes a player control. I will take it up
with TVE - and try your suggested link

You can try to find flash on tv software.
There exists some tools to convert swf to video such as mpeg or avi
,you can google them.
