Newly installed FP 2003

When trying to open a .jpeg image I receive this error "...The image file format is not supported"!!!!! How can I change this?

Display the image in IE, then copy the image into a image application, then
save as .jpg to your desktop from the application, then import into FP.

Wow! What a pain. I opened it in IE then did a "Save As" and just for curiosity sake I openend it in FP2003 and it accepted it.

Thanks for suggestion!

OK, glad you got it, there are some jpeg format created by PhotoShop, that
MS apps can't open with the exception of IE.

This may also happen with other graphics application, but I have always had
it happen with jpeg images that were created by PhotoShop, but not all.

Even with FP2003 being better at handling graphic/images it is still not a
replacement for using a application that was designed specifically to
working them, which is why I suggested pasting into a graphic/image
application first, plus that way you would then have accessible original for
future use.
