I have a few personla web sites - nothing fancy - I'm
looking for a host service that would allow me to add
video clips easier than going through a control panel -
my present service won't allow me to insert video from
the web page - any advice?

you should be able to link to a video file just like any other.....if your host
doesn't provide "streaming video" then they should allow downloads of files as
normal, so a user can view off line.
just link to the file with a normal <a href> tag.
