When I try to use "save as" FP2000 keeps crashing. I get
an error message that says something like "FP has
encountered a file problem & must close". I thought at
first it was only on pages that I use an "include" but
its any page I use "save as". So I can only update pages
but not make any new ones.
I have uninstalled & re-installed the program.
I recently upgraded to a new computer with XP pro &
office 2003 (did not get new FP). This problem started
when i installed my old FP disk on this new computer.
Could there be a compatiblity probem?

The FP2000 / Office 2000 needed to be installed prior to install Office 2003 apps.

The computer came loaded with the Office 2003. Is there
any way this can be remedied or do I need to upgrade to
FP2003?
Thank you

If you have the CD for Office 2003, you do an uninstall of FP2000, then Office 2003, then install
FP2000, then install Office 2003.

So will I lose all my saved Office 2003 data & have to do
a backup install.
What if I purchased an upgrade of FP to 2003 would it
then work?

If you have the CD for Office 2003, you do an uninstall
of FP2000, then Office 2003, then install

You will not loose your data files.
