Foxie

<quote> What is Foxie? Now you can surf the web with ease and comfort. Foxie
(fox + ie; pronounced /Foxy/) is a collection of free security, privacy and
productivity tools developed by the Foxie Team. It was originally designed
to bridge the gap between Internet Explorer and Mozilla FireFox (an open
source web browser developed by the Mozilla Foundation) but soon grew in
scope and size to offer additional unique features not found on any stand
alone browser. </quote>

I've just installed this program, and I'm impressed by the twenty adware and
trojan references it found which had been missed by a variety of other
programs. Admittedly, these were probably only registry entries which had
not been deleted, rather than actual executables, but nevertheless this
seems to be a program worth looking at, as it installs a spyware and adware
blocker, a spammers and scammers blocker and a worms and exploits blocker.

Nice day...

Not to mention the website.

At one point in the time, the donation page even had this

"Clicking on the button above will initiate a monthly donation to the
Mozilla Foundation. Click here for details on how to end your monthly
donation"

A lie of course.

I actually gave the damn thing a test-drive for my computer-challenged
friends/family. Caused crashes all over the place, screwed up Firefox
to no end (links would not open, only blank pages) and was messy to
uninstall.

I cant suggest it to anyone.
