fowarding mail

When I recieve mail from someone and I foward it to other people the pics do
not get sent with it. There are just x's in the place of the photos. What
am I doing wrong? Someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you

Try saving the images to your hard disk, then attaching those images to
the forwarded message.

Instead of simply using FORWARD, try MESSAGE menu|FORWARD AS ATTACHMENT.

I saw some posts which indicated that Norton Internet Security was
blocking attachments. It is conceivable that when the OP forwards
the photos they are being seen as attachments.

Normally the red Xs are due to the image not being properly referenced. I
haven't heard of Norton stripping off images from messages before. The
other attachment issues seem to be people can't save them or they don't open
properly when email scanning is on.

Try Tools | Options | Security tab
Uncheck Block images and other external content in HTML messages.

This is a bug in Windows Live Mail desktop that when turned off it allows
the images to be sent.

Might try it in Windows Mail and see if it works for it.

that has no bearing either, I am having same problem, when you go to forward
the e-mail that has attachments it drops the attachments, so this is what
cause's the pictures to not show up or show up as red x's, after you send.
But when you are looking at your forward message before you send it it show
the pictures in the e-mail, but not the attachments. There is not any setting
that changes this, its a flaw in the mail program......

an update to my last thread is the e-mail I was trying to forward had gif
attachments that were also in the body of the e-mail as pictures. I tried to
forward movies and such and those all went fine but the gif is so far the
only one that isnt attaching in forward.

update to my last thread... its gif's in the body of the e-amil and they are
also attached is what is giving me the problem when trying to forward, movies
and other file formats work fine when forwarding. I haven't tried jpeg's yet.

Save the pictures to files on your hard drive.

When forwarding use Message | Forward as attachment and then it will be
complete.
