Hi,
I am running XP Pro SP2 and have installed a printer which is connected via
a USB cable. The printer works fine. But every time I switch on the printer
XP says it has found new hardware and launches the Hardware Setup Wizard. How
can I stop this happening?

Keep the printer on....When starting xp,have it already on,youre problems
will
cease..

What brand of printer? Maybe try updating the printer drivers?

Search MS Knowledge Base?

Did you plug it into a different USB port?
If so , that happens some times...
Just install it a second time and see if that stops the constant nagging

I've solved the problem... I just ticked the box that says "Don't ask me to
install this software again"!! Thanks
