Found a Bug <a small one>

If you "mouse over" and "hover" over the default shortcut
created on the desktop for the Microsoft Antispyware
you'll see comment of "GIANT AntiSpyware Main
Application" appear. This would be a bug.

I don't think so. It is just the comment for that shortcut. If you look at
it in the task manager etc, it frequently refers to itself as the Giant
AntiSpyware...

I understand, it's just a comment in the shortcut. Point
is, anywhere it says "Giant software" needs to be updated
since Microsoft now owns Giant. Just pointing this out.

I believe you will find that MS bought Giant Antispyware from Sunbelt
(CounterSpyware's Author). This is probably why the layouts are similar and
when CounterSpy is uninstalled/amended MS AntiSpyware is sometimes damaged.

Yes, Microsoft purchased Giant in December 2004 and went into beta
immediately. The GIANT name in the product is a cosmetic issue and will be
of course resolved by either beta 2 or closer to release time.
