Forwarding email makes message body disappear

Using Outlook 2003 and Word 2003.

When one particular sender, sends an email to any of our recipients, and
they try to forward the email, or reply to the email....the message body
disappears, leaving only the top part of the email (To:, From; Subject, etc).
and the disclaimer that is added by our anti spam service.

This happens only when Word is set as the email editor - all is okay when
Outlook is the editor. However the user can not use Outlook as the editor
because they want to use the full feature set that Word provides.

This happens to all recipients at our company, not just one or two.

Has anyone ever heard of this, or know a setting that can be tweaked??

Thank you!!

If you are using Outlook 2003 and Word 2003, and Outlook is set to use Word 2003 to edit email messages (Outlook> tools > Options> Mail Format Tab: Message Format..."Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages"), you might try this :

1) Load up Word
2) In Word: Tools, Options, General Tab, Email Options... ( button), General Tab "Html Options" > HTML filtering Options: - Select "none" (keep all formatting information)

That should sort it out.

For me, email body text information was disappearing in certain emails as soon as I hit repy or forward ( and to be clear, before actually sending them). Changing the HTML filtering options in Word from "Medium" to "None" fixed the problem.

Hope that helps! Mint :thumb:
