Forwarded emails in sent mail folder

When I forward an inbox email it doesn't show up in my sent mail folder. I
know they go out because I get responses back. What am I missing? Regular
sent emails are no problem.

Tools - Options - E-mail Options - Advanced E-Mail Options, make sure Save
Forwarded Messages is checked.

I double-checked that the forwarded mail box was checked and it is.

Well, when Outlook is doing something that it shouldn't be doing, I would
try two things. First, try safe mode. Exit out of Outlook, go to Start
- Run and run outlook /safe. If that fixes it, then you need to figure out
which of the plug ins are causing a problem.

If it still fails, I'd try creating a new profile, seeing if that resolves
the problem.

Oh, before all that, what type of account is this? POP? Hotmail? Exchange?

I'm using Pop. I did take your advice and open Outlook in safe mode. It
worked. Problem is that I have no idea how to research to find out which
plug in is causing the problem. Can I just leave outlook open in safe mode?
What do I lose?

You lose the add-ins, I'm not sure what else. I forget what version of Outlook
you're running, but, generally...

OL2k3 - Tools/Options - Other - Advanced Options - Add-in Manager

Start disabling, one by one, until you find one that suddenly lets it work.
