Forward as vcard option

T

terri

I have two Dell machines with XP Pro, they both have a
problem with forwarding vcards, when you try and use the
option in contacts 'forward as vcard' an error comes up:
'A required component is missing wab32.dll please install
microsoft outlook again'.
Even after reinstalling Outlook the error reoccurs. Has
anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any
answers for this?
Thanks
Terri

Are you sure this is Outlook? If so what version and mail support mode?
Only Outlook Express uses the WAB.

Then the WAB should not be in play at all. Are your settings for vCards
correct?
Take a look at this MS KB article, it may help:

Well to get rid of the error message you would need to reinstall Outlook
Express, not Outlook.

system32 folder and it has fixed the problem!
