Hello, all you XP help-seekers.
Due to serious problems with the Microsoft
forum servers over the last few days, your
post may not show up in a timely fashion,
or at all.
Furthermore, the people who usually post
the answers cannot see your questions, for
the most part. Reposting may be necessary.
Apologies, and we hope this serious MS server
problem will be resolved soon.
But don't hold your breath.

Either use Microsoft's Web Newsgroups view, or News access provided by your
ISP.

If there are any problems, they must be entirely at your end.
(Not surprising as you don't even seem to realize the difference
between web-based "forums" and Usenet, which is what this is.
