Formulas with Pivot Table in Excel 2003

In a cell outside the pivot table, I want to reference a cell inside the pivot table and then copy that formula. It does not allow for relative copying of the cell referenced in the pivot table. This is new with Excel 2003 - Is there some setting I can change to allow this

You can change this setting, or you can type an equal sign, and type the
cell reference, instead of clicking on the cell to reference it.

To change the setting --
Choose Tools>Customize
Select the Data category on the Commands tab
Near the end of the commands list, select Generate GetPivotData
Drag the command to one of your toolbars
Click Close

Use this button to toggle the feature on and off.
