Skipping Cells

Not sure if this is possible... my boss wants to create a spreadsheet that
will calculate a couple of cells.... but skipping some .... is this
possible?? If so....can you help?? :):):) Thanks
 
didn't your boss give you more than that to go on? Which cells and what
calculation?
