Formulas in macros

Hello,

in one of the macros, i need apply the =SUBTOTAL(9, .... ) formula ove
a specific range. i have that range stored in a range variable name
rangeForSubtotal.

how could i do that..

activecell.formula="=SUBTOTAL(9," & range("A1:A100").address & ")"
