Formulas are not updating their values

Hello,
I have formulas that reference other cells in the same sheet. When
change the value in one of the referenced cells, the value in th
"formula" cell does not change (It continues to display the origina
value if the referenced cell never changed). If i retype the formula
it displays the correct value (referencing the changed value).
What setting controls this??

Options - Calculations - Manual -> Automati

Tools/Options/Calculation --- make sure "automatic" is
checked
