Hi All,

I am working in vehicle tracking co. In reports we get No. of Excess Idle
Time & excess idle time is 5 min. each 5 min idle we got 1 excess idle.

Is there any formula that we can calculate the Time.
12 Excess idle means 1 hour
13 excess idle means 1hour and 5 min.

Please Help in this matter.

Hassan,

Fromat a cell (say A1) as [hh]:mm and enter 0:5 as you 5 minutes constant.
in another cell formatted as [hh]:mm put the formula =A1*B1

B1 would be the cell with you 12 or 15 in it and the answer will be idle
time in hours and minutes.
