Formula to find greater of two values???

Amatuer needs help!
I need to know if someone can help me with a formula that can find the
greater value of several cells.

In other words I need C10 to equal the greater value of either cell B9
or B10. If B9=200 and B10=300, I need C10 to equal 300.

I will also need to adjust this formula in another cell to add the
greater two values of three cells.

Any suggestions??
