Formula result different from value shown in cell

Hi,

I was trying to average across 2 worksheets with 2
different arguments built in. I can see the formula
result in the screen which is the correct answer but what
comes on the cell is totally different. I have tried
hitting "Ctrl+Equal Sign" in the active worksheet but it
did not help.

I am using Excel 2000.

Hi Wendy,

What do you mean with "in the screen" and "on the cell"? What formula did
you use? What were the values of the input cells? What did you expect as a
result? What did you get instead?
