Hi Everyone,

I need formula that will count and put the number next to
a column of customer id's going up to 29 and then
starting at 1 again, in a repeating pattern. Can anybody
help?

Cheers

Daniel

Hi
in the first cell put the formula
=MOD(ROW(1:1),30)
and copy down

Daniel,

If you don't want to start your counting in row 1, then use a variation on
JE's formula. IF your first cell is E7, for example, then use the formula:

=MOD(ROW()-ROW($E$7),29)+1
