which formula can i use in a table with nummbers that provides the order of
numbers that are most common in that table. example 1- 256times
25-185 times and so on

Hi Ivan
not a formula solution but one way: I#d use a pivot tabel for this. Use
your number column as row in the pivot chart layout. For data use the
Countof for this row. This will create a report with your numbers and
the individual count per number. Just sort this pivot report

Another option is to create a histogram using Data Analysis. Look under Tools>Data_Analysis>Histogram. If you list the values in your table in a seperate table, you can use this as the Bin Range. Be sure to uncheck the labels box.

If you check the Pareto box excel will produce two tables. The first will have the bin numbers in numerical order. The second will have the bin numbers in size order.
