formula in form field

I'm trying to use the sum function in a form field.
Please advise.
Thanks!
You do that when you bind the control to the field. So open a blank
instance of the form in design mode, select the control, right-click it
and pull up the properties, find where you set the value and look at
one of the back tabs of the bindery.

Basically, it's just [prop1] + [prop2] where those are the two properties on the item that you're trying to add.
