Formula help

Hi

Is there anyone that would now of a formula that i need to bring back a
value of total the way i have my sheet set out is

B4=Name, C4=Manager,=D4=Date From,E4=Date To,F4=No of Days,G4No of
Hours,H4=Sataus

i need a formula that will mate up the name of a person and look up the
status in a range of holidays so i can get the total amont of holidays
pending.

It should be straightforward, but it would help if you gave an example of
the data, including the holidays list, and what result you expected.
