How do you create the formula: the difference between column A and B an the percentage of the difference
R Ragdyer Apr 25, 2004 #2 There's two ways to go. The percentage of the difference compared to A1, OR, the percentage of the difference compared to B1. With the formula cell formatted to percent: If 5 is in A1, And 20 is in B1, B1 minus A1 divided by B1 equals 75% =(B1-A1)/B1 B1 minus A1 divided by A1 equals 300% =(B1-A1)/A1 Which way to go depends on what you're looking for.
