Formula for Numbers in Running Sequence

In my excel sheet, at A5 is the starting numerial no 1 and end at A177. Is
there a formula that the numbers will be in running sequence, no doubt I
delete/ insert a row or select an autofilter in H4, the numbers will still be
in running sequence?

Hi

In cell A5 enter
=ROW(A1)
Copy down as far as far as A177

Deletions will be fine, but if you insert a row, then in the blank cell in
column A of the new row, copy down the formula from the cell above.
