Hi All!

I don't know how I did this, but the information in the formula bar is
showing up in white font... Please help! ... I want to change it back to
black...

TIA!

Try this (Think it's a windows setting)

Right-click on any empty space in the desktop > choose Properties

Select Appearance tab > Advanced button
(in Win XP)

In the Advanced Appearance dialog:
Click on "Item" dropdown menu > choose Message Box
Under "Color" for Font (in the line *below* "Item")
Choose "Black" color > OK > Apply

(and don't do it again <bg>)

Max,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your solution is a Global solution, meaning
you're thinking that all my excel files are showing up the same (white
font in the forumla bar) ... but this is not the case, only this one
particular file has white font for the information in the formula bar...

I will try your suggestion though, when I get back to work on
Wednesday...

Thanks!

...but your solution is a Global solution ..
... don't say that <g> I merely tinkered around in windows
to see whether the phenomena you're experiencing
could be replicated, which I managed to do ..
hence the suggested steps as posted to perhaps help undo
and revert back to normal

That's all there is to it, FWIW
