Forms

I am administering a database for sales leads. I have a variety of forms for
the different sales people to use. One of my users keeps on telling me that
he enters stuff into the form and when he goes back, what he entered is not
there anymore. I am under the impression that once something is entered onto
a form in Access that the information automatically saves. I am trying to
figure out if this is a user error or an Access error. Does anyone here have
any insight? I would greatly appreciate it!
 
It does not save if you close the form before exiting a text box that you
entered data into.
