I have a sign up page for classes on a website that is
processed into the ssl server and is posted to forms
results page. Right now am only collecting the customer
name address and phone and class date. The form is then
forwarded to pop email accounts to site owner and site
webmaster(personal email accounts)
Site is hosted on bcentral, which offers secure email for
the site email accounts. If I remove the forwarding to
private email can I do the following and be safe
Question: Would it be safe to collect credit card info on
the form and then have it mailed under the secure email
which can be configured on the computer to receive the
site mail.
The site doesn't have a merchant account for processing
cards.
Hope this makes sense.
TIA

If there is SSL encryption (digital certificate such as "Verisign") on the
form, and if the secure email is in fact secure (such as PGP enryption),
then all should be well.

But, you must have SSL on the form.
