Forms protect

I am using Word 2003 and when I choose Tools/Protect Document, I cannot
select any option in the Protect Document pane ... do I have an option turned
off??? Thanks,

Have you checked the box for "Editing restrictions"? When you do this, you
get further options.

I can't check the box, every option is "greyed out." ;-( I've looked at
every option I can find that deals with forms protect and can't get the
options to become active.

Have you actually tried checking one of the boxes? They appear gray until
you click in them.
