When using a form in access 2007 I don't seem to be able to scroll from
record to record with the wheel of the mouse like I could in previous
versions of access. Is there anyway to make this happen as I find this a
quick way of going through my records?

If you can't then it is a very stupid thing for MS to remove in the upgrade!

Thanks.

Microsoft doubtlessly changed the behaviour because the overwhelming
majority of users were always asking how to disable the mouse wheel!

Absolutely. It was all too easy to accidentally bump the scroll wheel and
change records when it was not your intention to do so. Imagine that
happening during data entry and the user is now changing data in the wrong
record. Or during new record entry all sorts of errors occur because the
record is not "legal" when the scrollwheel causes an accidental attempt to
leave a record not completely filled out.

It could have been made a True/False property to be set on a per-form basis
though. Barring that having it always off is definitely better than having
it always on.

Thanks for the link, Douglas, I'll give it a go and hope it works.

Perhaps MS should have put an on/off option for mouse wheel use in the
tools/option menu.
