How do I format my hard drive when using Windows 2000
Professional? I would like to put win2k back on after
formatting.

Thanks,
Drew

Greetings --

Simply boot from the Win2K installation CD. You'll be offered the
opportunity to delete, create, and format partitions as part of the
installation process. (You may need to re-arrange the order of boot
devices in the PC's BIOS to boot from the CD.)

This question has been asked very often. You can easily
find the solution by looking up previous posts under
similar subject lines.

Boot from win2k cd
Choose fresh/new install and follow the prompt (if you
need third party controller that comes up after win2k, you
need to F6 early).
You will be given an option to delete and then format
partitions.
