Formatting toolbar hides behind Powerpoint menu bar

Greetings.
I'm using Powerpoint 2004 on my Mac, and can't see the formatting
toolbar. When I want to view it, it appears mostly hidden behind the
Powerpoint menu bar. I can't drag it anywhere to make it usable. Any
suggestions?
