Formatting the numbers.

I am trying to create a dataentry sheet with format as below:09.00.0.10 , But was unable to keep this format for entering.I have checked back going to the design of the table and form.Please advise anyway to format the numbers.

Minni,

Your field datatype will need to be a text field, not a
numeric datatype, as Access can't store something like this
as a number.
