Formatting Rows

I want to have a spreadsheet with columns that have different sizes. I want
perhaps 10 columns with one margine/size and I want to be able to change the
colum size for the next 20 rows without changing the columns above them. Then
I want to be able to print the sheet. Any ideas?

One way to get around this would be to merge the cells from two columns for
the 20 rows you refer to.

Thanks, I thought of that but I'm still restricted to column width, in this
case twice the original which still won't suit my purpose. I do appreciate
the thought.

As an extention to the 2 column merging, how about this:
Set 50 columns to width 5
In rows 1-10 merge columns A - D, merge columns E - H etc.
In rows 11 -20 merge columns B - F, merge columns G - K etc.
In rows 20 - 100 merge colums A & B, merge C & D etc.
In fact any combination that you want!
You can the adjust column widths to suit your requirements.
However, the possible drawback - if you propose using a lot of formulae then
copying, pasteing or dragging becomes a nightmare!
