Formatting Question

I have a form with a subform. I want to change the subform from a datasheet
view to a single or continuous form. When I do this the background of the
form has a sandstone format and for some reason I can't change it. I have
gone into the form and changed the background color. That doesn't work. I go
to auto format and click "standard format" but that doesn't work either. I
know I have click on the actual subform in my main form.

Does anyone know what I need to do to change the background of my subform
when in single or continuous form view. I am using Access 2003.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best regards,

Dee

Is there something in the Picture property of the form?
Did you want to clear that?

Dear Allen,

There is no picture in the form. If you go to Format - AutoFormat, on the
list is "expedition" that is what the background looks like. I have not put
that formatting on myself. I started out with my subform in datasheet view
which was fine but when I change form this is the formatting that shows.

Best regards,

Dee

I presume you are talking about the subform here.

Open it in design view directly from the Database window (i.e. without the
main form.) Then check the Picture property again. I just tried it, and the
autoformat does set the Picture property to:
(bitmap)

Dear Allen,

I opened the subform from the database window and I do see bitmap. I deleted
it and everything is perfect. Thanks again for your help.

Best regards,

Dee
