I would like to print the data on a sheet in the
landscape view, but the page numbering in the top right
corner with the number rotated like the portrait view.
This is so I can bind my data tables in a book with the
numbers in the top right corners like a normal book.
Thank you.

Excel does not provide for this. Page numbers are printed in same orientation
as the print mode.

Someone suggested copying the landscape pages as pictures, pasting into Word,
rotate 90 degrees left, and print them there.

Another work-around would be to insert a blank worksheet and make dummy pages
with page numbers in Portrait. Print these blank pages with the page numbers
then use them as the media for your Landscape printing.

Enter a space in A1(you need this to make Excel think there is something to
print).

File>Page Setup>Sheet>Enter a print range that will be large enough to
accommodate the number of Landscape pages you will need.

Add your Custom Header/page number in Right Section before printing these
dummy pages.

They should consider adding this functionality.
Imagine producing a written report in Word and adding the data tables in the
middle. Having the data tables in landscape without the page numbers
rotating would be fairly useful. Come to think of it...

Carolyn: Do you have MS Binder (I believe it comes with Office). It is
used to combine various office documents together into one report. According
to the help file, it can provide page numbering independent of the original
documents. Maybe removing the page numbers from within Excel, and numbering
them in Binder would get around the orientation problem?

I'm not sure about this as I've never even used Binder before.
