Is it possible to put formatting characters like tab and manual line feed
into memo fields? If so, how? Thanks.

Tab, not easily; manual linefeeds yes. You can type Ctrl-Enter, or set
the textbox's Enter Key Behavior property to "New Line in Field".

Do you think it is too early to mention that Access 2007 will support rich
text in memo fields?
