Formatting in Auto Correct

Im Trying to put a letter head into an auto correct so that if I type
<n.letterhead> it automatically puts in a letterhead, however I cant get the
formatting right ie new lines and right align because the "allow formatting"
checkbox is unticked and greyed in (suggesting it isn't able to be used
because of some setting) how do I tick this or what else should I do?

This may be a lot to ask of AutoCorrect. AutoText would probably be more
appropriate. But, as Graham says, a letterhead should be in a template, not
in a macro, AutoCorrect, or AutoText entry. See
