Ok, apparently I'm not asking this question correctly.

I import data from a text file, create a table. In the table is a field
showing farm acres. Is there anyway i can format these fields, after the
import, so that Access places a decimal 2 over from the rightmost numeral in
the acres fields of data? Access this field as a long integer, so i know
that would have to be changed.

Keep in mind, that I know almost nothing about access and am struggling to
grasp these simple concepts.

In fact, what I have asked maybe impossible in a table, but if it can be
performed in a query, that will work for me too.

When I was using Excel for my database I always multiplied this column of
data by .01 so that the decimal was placed where I wanted. That is another
method that will work for me if someone could please explain it.

Again, my field name is ACRES, and I want (either in my table or a query) a
decimal placed 2 digits left of the rightmost numeral, and i'm very raw in
Access.

Thank you in advance for any help extended.
