Formatting cell problem

Aaron

Hi,

I have a column which I've converted from the default format to numeric.
Upon doing so, most of the cells in that column display their contents
as left-aligned, while the rest display their contents as right-aligned.
While this may not seem significant, when I try to import this table
to Access, the cells that are left-aligned cause a Type Format Error (as
if they're not numeric). I've gone back and double-checked both types of
cells (left/right-aligned) in this Excel column, and all show up as
being numeric. Does anyone know what could be my problem here?

Thanks,
Aaron

They are text and not numeric. Type a 1 in an empty cell and make sure it is
right aligned. now copy that cell, select all your 'numerical' type data and do
Edit / Paste Special / Multiply. This should coerce it all back to numeric.
